You will need Magazine covers (from advertisements or from the net), Loose paper (even from the edge of the newspaper) and glue.
Cut a bunch of strips from the edge of the newspaper or a Magazine into the inside of your magazine. Glue the sides from the rear edge with stick glue and place the cover sheet on top. Let dry under weight.
You can finish the Magazines by putting clear Packing tape over the cover.
Of the cover of a case of the matchbox you get a nice Magazine case when you coat it by sticker or paint.
